Dream interpretation
As the father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, first realised, dreams are the main channel to the unconscious.
When you dream, issues you repress or have never experienced while awake and conscious, shape your dreams.
Dreams show you a side of yourself that remains hidden when you are awake and reveal aspects of your personality, emotions, thoughts and character attributes that may burden you and/or be a source of strength. Once you become aware of these hidden strengths, you may use them to your advantage, and integrate them into your conscious mind.
Through dream interpretation, you will gain a clearer understanding of why you view things the way you do and take advantage of these insights as new options in your life.
Softfactors periodically offers the following workshops:
- Introductory workshop: Psychoanalytical interpretation of dreams will be outlined based on general dream examples.
- Advanced workshops: Group members (closed group of max. 8 members) may share their dreams; the interpretation will happen in the group, taking into consideration the psychodynamic aspects within the group.
